Preparing for trip
Series of blogs to journal our experiences of reloacting back to uk from ireland with 2 cats.
So we decided to relocate back to uk from ireland following redundancy to look after mum who turns an incredible 90 next year.
Move involves relocating our 2 house cats percy and daisy by car and ferry.
Move also involves relocating pet grooming business to UK also, see new website and instagram links below.

Plan to share my experiences of moving 2 cats overseas in this blog so future people have a better starting point and we can share what we did good and what we could do better.
Step 1
Cat must be microchipped and vet to confirm that it is working
Step 2
Cat will need visit to vet >21 days before travel to have rabies jab and start pet passport for travel.
Rough cost is 65 euro per Cat at time of writing.
Step 3
Book ferry. From Dublin to Holyhead there is option to book pet cabin that includes 2 beds, window and ferry supply Cat litter for trip.
Step 4
Need to purchase essentials for trip
Things like pet carrier, litter tray, bags for disposing poop, animal wipes for accidents, food and treats.
